The Houston Joy of Quilts is more than a show—it’s a celebration of the craftsmanship, education, and service of the Quilt Guild of Greater Houston (QGGH). Our members and quilt bees work year-round, sharing their skills, mentoring others, and creating art that warms hearts and homes. As Houston's largest quilt guild, QGGH proudly dedicates itself to fostering a vibrant quilting community. In 2024, our members contributed over 13,000 volunteer hours, crafting more than 600 quilts for those in need through our Comforters program. Tickets are $10 at the door, and every dollar received supports our mission to spread warmth, comfort, and creativity.
Want to have a quilt appraised?
We will have an appraiser at our show! Marcia Kaylakie, who just recently appraised at the Houston International Quilt Festival, will be available throughout to appraise your quilts. The fee will be $65 per item. Appointments may be scheduled at the show, or in advance by sending an email using the contact form below.
